My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Thunderball.” Here’s one of the classic and best “007” films ever made. “Thunderball” offers Sean Connery at his peak as “James Bond” and it is the movie that began 007’s use of more than a few gadgets. “Thunderball” is a big-screen spectacle and rightly deserves just about every accolade. In a nutshell, “Thunderball” is the story of a villain who steals two nuclear bombs from the British and takes them … to the Bahamas! Of course, Sean foils his plan. “Thunderball” is probably the best example of what a “James Bond” film should be!
