OMG! IT’S THE START OF THE 2019 ATLANTIC HURRICANE SEASON! Run! Hide! OK, just kidding … somewhat. Here we are on June 1, 2019, at the official start of the season that will run through Nov. 30. We’ve already had one named storm (Subtropical Andrea) and the season will find its most active months in August and September. I got this shot of a thunderstorm cloudburst on May 30, 2019, and hope it’s not a harbinger of things to com – but we could use the rain.
