My movie suggestion for today is … to watch “Blockers.” OK, so this isn’t a great film and it’s not in the pantheon of “best of” puerile comedy, but “Blockers” is totally watchable and, although the actors don’t really do much of a good job, they, too are watchable (especially pro wrestler-turned-bad-actor John Cena). “Blockers” is the story of parents of three high school girls and what they aim to do on prom night. “Blockers” doesn’t set any new gross-out standards (although one scene with Cena comes close), it does the genre justice. So, get out there and watch “Blockers.” You won’t be disappointed – and you’ll laugh a lot!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
