My movie suggestion today is … to re-watch “Hooper.” I won’t write “watch,” since I’m sure everyone’s watched Burt Reynolds in his best non-dramatic film. “Hooper” is the story of an aging stuntman who has to work incessantly keep up with the young gun coming up fast. “Hooper” is actually nice work by Burt and I like it better than his iconic car-chase flick “Smokey and the Bandit.” Of course, “Hooper” doesn’t have Jackie Gleason, but it works much better on all levels. “Hooper” is worth your time, even if you don’t believe so today or didn’t back in the day. So, try out “Hooper” as soon as you can!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
