My movie reviews: A forgotten gem? Try ‘French Postcards’ (no, not that kind)

My movie suggestion today is … to watch “French Postcards.” No, not those kind of French postcards … but a movie by the co-writers of “American Graffiti” and “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.” Here’s a wonderful coming-of-age story of a group of U.S. college students spending a year of study in Paris. “French Postcards” is titled for one of the character’s postcards she sends home to the boyfriend of backed out of the “trip of a lifetime” at the last minute. Normally, I don’t believe I’d like such a flick, but “French Postcards” is a very special, pretty much forgotten gem. Don’t delay! Find it and watch it!

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
