My movie suggestion today is … to watch the basketball classic “Hoosiers.” It’s the “based-on” story of a small-town high school team that … well, surpasses expections and for the details, you’ll have to see it to find out. “Hoosiers” stars Gene Hackman and Barbara Hershey and is simply pitch-perfect in all categories. “Hoosiers” was nominated for two Oscars (supporting actor by Dennis Hopper and for best original score), but it’s as much the film’s message(s) that make it stand out. So, with hoops season in full swing, get out there and watch “Hoosiers.”
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
