My movie suggestion for today is … to watch “The Bedford Incident.” Here’s an outstanding Cold War flick that doesn’t take place in fog-shrouded London or snowbound Moscow. “The Bedford Incident” takes place in the far North Atlantic and is the story of a U.S. Navy ship run by the most straight-laced skipper you’ll ever find. Not only are the headliners of “The Bedford Incident” (Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier) great, but the supporting cast that includes James “Hawaii Five-O” MacArthur and TV veteran Wally Cox is superlative as well. Check out “The Bedford Incident,” if you can find it.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
