Try this flick … “O.C. and Stiggs.” Well, only try this movie if you want to see one of Hollywood’s worst-ever failures. “O.C. and Stiggs” didn’t even make it to $100,000 at the box office in releases over two years. Wow. That’s putrid. Worse, “O.C. and Stiggs” came from characters created by National Lampoon and the film was (so-called) directed by seven-time Oscar nominee Robert Altman. In short, “O.C. and Stiggs” was supposed to be a vengeful comedy where a couple of teenagers strike back. Well, “O.C. and Stiggs” sucks; the direction is a total embarrassment; and the acting is just in name only. Worse, a great SNL comedian named Jane Curtain gives the worst of all worst performances and Jon Cryer isn’t far behind. If you get a chance – and can hold down lunch or dinner – then check out “O.C. and Stiggs.” You’ll definitely be as disappointed as everyone else.
