Try this flick … “Full Metal Jacket.” Here’s a film from the Vietnam war era that can be very tough to watch. “Full Metal Jacket” has the most profane and violent drill sergeant ever to grace the big screen and absolutely never sugarcoats being in the military or combat. “Full Metal Jacket” is the story of a U.S. Marine from boot camp to Vietnam and you’ll find yourself on an emotional roller coaster from the opening credits to the final scene as soldiers cross a battle-scarred landscape singing the “Mickey Mouse March.” “Full Metal Jacket” was directed by Stanley Kubrick and worth every second of your time.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to my review.
