Try this flick … the remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair.” The so-called “reboots” of a good motion picture are usually crap. Not so with “The Thomas Crown Affair” from 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. “The Thomas Crown Affair,” in which a rich man gets his kicks from pulling a complicated heist and is chased by a beautiful insurance investigator, resurrects the original by Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Well, the fortysomethings Brosnan and Russo heat up the remake and make it special. The remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair” (as well as the original) is easy to find on the cable grid and streaming, so enjoy it … again.
