Try this flick … “Rollercoaster.” Here’s a 1970s flick that has the appearance of a TV movie today, but is certainly worth your time. “Rollercoaster” is the story of a “Young Man” who creates disaster on roller coasters and then tries to extort money from amusement park owners. “Rollercoaster’s” story is well-told and the acting isn’t an abomination – especially since it stars George Segal and Richard Widmark as the good guys and Timothy Bottoms (remember “Hart” from “The Paper Chase?”) as the bad guy. “Rollercoaster” also has some great dated scenes such as when Segal wins a carton of cigarettes at one amusement park! Check it out! It comes around on occasion on the movie channels …
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to my review, which I just expanded.
