Try this flick … “The Night Strangler.” Here is a sequel to the outstanding vampire movie from TV in 1972 called “The Night Stalker.” While pretty much a clone of the original, “The Night Strangler,” like “Stalker,” has a creative plot – it’s villain isn’t a vampire, he’s just killing women so he can live longer – and an adequate cast. Darren McGavin headlines “The Night Strangler” as he did the original and is in good form in this one. You’ll also experience a wonderful supporting turn from a certain “wicked witch” from “The Wizard of Oz.” Now, despite the movie’s cheesy TV production, you won’t be disappointed with “The Night Strangler” (if you can find it).
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
