Try this flick … “Jurassic World.” Here’s an example of the continuation of a franchise that you can watch and enjoy. Of course, “Jurassic World” continues the story of dinosaurs on an island off Costa Rica, but, in this extension after “Jurassic Park III,” the park is open and the public is enjoying seeing the dinosaurs. Still, there was a chance that filmmakers would fumble the effort, but no worry about “Jurassic World.” It is simply marvelous and introduces a new group of actors – especially Chris Pratt and the expert on raptors and Bryce Dallas Howard as the corporate … well, initially a corporate shill. “Jurassic World” would be followed with a wasteful piece of crap called “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” (they couldn’t even come up with a different title), but you can still re-watch the fourth installment of the franchise and never watch the fifth again.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
