Try this flick … “French Postcards.” OK, let me get it out of the way right now: “French Postcards” is a story about college students in France, not those kind of postcards. Here is a little-remembered gem that is one of my forgotten favorites. “French Postcards” has an ensemble cast of young actors from Miles Chapin to Blanche Baker to David Alan Marshall to Debra Winger as well as a veteran such as Jean Rochefort. “French Postcards” is the story of the entwined lives of U.S. students doing a year of study abroad. Well, they study each other as much as they hit the books. It’s not easy to find, but it’s worth your effort to get “French Postcards” and watch it!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
