Try this flick … “The Cannonball Run.” Here’s a comedy film that has an all-star cast from which you’ll probably recognize all of them (especially if you’re over the age of 50). “The Cannonball Run” is a showcase for Burt Reynolds and director Hal Needham and, while a stinker of a movie, you just can’t stop watching it. From Roger Moore to Farrah Fawcett to Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. to Dom DeLuise to Jackie Chan and, whew, to TV icon Jamie Farr, you’ll find a bunch of stars in this cast. Oh, by the way, “The Cannonball Run” is a film about a coast-to-coast car race – but you’ll find a much better and more accurate film with “The Gumball Rally.” Oh, by the way again, don’t bother with “The Cannonball Run’s” sequel … it stinks beyond belief.
