Try this flick … Well, today it’s for you to try “The Art of Light Comedy.” You know … those comedies that you just enjoy without having to truly focus on! “The Art of Light Comedy,” though, takes a special filmmaker and stars to be most excellent. I’ve reviewed several and my roundup of “The Art of Light Comedy” shows how actors and their work make such movies a delight. With this look at “The Art of Light Comedy,” I’m offering you Doris Day (“Pillow Talk” and “The Glass Bottom Boat”); Cary Grant (“Operation Petticoat” and “Father Goose”); and Rosalind Russell (“The Trouble with Angels” and “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows”). Watch any one of these comedies and you’ll be smiling later for hours.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
