Try this flick … “Foul Play.” Here’s the first of a couple of comedies that co-star Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase. “Foul Play” with the first and it is the best: The duo plays off each other perfectly and each does their own comedy to near perfection. “Foul Play” is the story of a woman who gets caught up in a plot to assassinate the Pope and the cop who becomes entangled in the intrigue. “Foul Play” is accurately described on its poster as a “comedy thriller” and it is extremely fun to watch even after 40+ years.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
