It’s H20ween coming! … my recommendation(s) for today feature a TV vampire movie worthy of the big-screen and an iconic slasher film that looks more like a TV production. Still, you can’t go wrong with either TV’s “Salem’s Lot” or the big-screen horror classic “Friday the 13th.” “Salem’s Lot” is taken from a Stephen King novel and is terrifically well-done by the late legendary horror director Tobe Hooper and you won’t find any vampire flicks that are better. As for “Friday the 13th” … well, it doesn’t get any more horror franchise-esque than the film that spawned “Jason” of the hockey mask fame. “Friday the 13th” isn’t a good movie, but it’s a terrific horror film. So, check both out today!
