It’s H20ween! … We’ve officially reached Halloween 2020 and there’s only one film to watch today: “Halloween” from 1978 with Jamie Lee Curtis. Ms. Curtis set the standard as THE “Scream Queen” in cinema with this movie, although she’s more tough than scream-ish. “Halloween” is from the legendary director John Carpenter (he also wrote the title music) and here is a truly interesting motion picture and not just a series of gut-churning scenes of dismemberment. “Halloween” is a true horror film in that it scares you with tension and suspense along with the blood. So, as we close out this incredible, unreal Halloween season of 2020, make sure you keep “Halloween” running today!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
