Try this flick … “The Martian.” Except for a subplot involving China that was obviously put in the film as a sop to Chinese investors and that country’s government for allowing the financing, “The Martian” is an outstanding motion picture and has the Oscar nominations to prove it – all seven of them. “The Martian” is the story of an astronaut marooned on Mars and his subsequent survival on that harsh planet and the efforts to bring him back to earth. “The Martian” stars Matt Damon and a raft of top-notch efforts by the supporting cast.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
