Try this flick … “Hoosiers.” I wrote this review during the 2015 “March Madness” college basketball tournament. Well, I’m asking you to watch “Hoosiers” again today because hoops is gearing up with college already started and the NBA slime ready to get oozing again. “Hoosiers,” which stars Gene Hackman, is a story of a small-town high school team that reaches the pinnacle, but it is as much a story of redemption for two men (the new coach and the alcoholic father of a team member) and all the emotions that go along with success as it is a basketball story. Still, you can’t separate the two in “Hoosiers” and you should make sure to watch it again – since I know you’ve already seen it.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
