A most memorable gift … an iconic Ka-Bar knife!

Here’s the most memorable Christmas gift I’ve received in a long time. Our daughter and her husband, who is an officer in the United States Marine Corps, gave me this wonderful Ka-Bar knife. The knife is the iconic Ka-Bar that first went into service in World War II as the USMC Mark 2 Combat Knife. It remains a legendary blade and this was manufactured by the original company. I took this shot on Dec. 27, 2020. Thanks, for a most impressive gift! Oh, the knife is trademarked as “KA-BAR” (as you can see from the box), but is more commonly referred to as a Ka-Bar.
