Watch it! We’ve moved into 2021 and I’m going to tell you to … “Watch it!” For today, you should watch Martin Scorsese’s “The Departed.” Here’s one of the best films made in the past 50 years and it has tour(s)-de-force from Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson and Matt Damon. “The Departed” is a crime story about a gangster’s infiltration of a police department and the incredible violence and ruinous outcomes to that violence. DiCaprio is the undercover cop; Nicholson is the crime boss; and Damon is the infiltrator. You simply can’t go wrong with “The Departed” and I’d be surprised if you haven’t already seen it.
