Watch It! So, what to recommend today? I’m going to say … “Nighthawks” with Sylvester Stallone and Billy Dee Williams. Here’s a pretty neat buddy film about two New York undercover cops who are forced to join the (then) emerging anti-terrorist squad. However, the best part of “Nighthawks” is the work of supporting actor Rutger Hauer as terrorist “Wulfgar.” “Nighthawks” is a nice showcase for Hauer, who was in his first U.S. movie, but after these three actors, there’s not much to see. The film will have its 40th anniversary this year, but it doesn’t show its age too much. “Nighthawks” will keep you entertained until the end. So … Watch It!
