Watch It! I’m going out on a limb today to recommend “Under Siege.” OK, the “limb” part of that statement is because of what a serious weirdo its headliner, Steven Segal, has become in the world. However, he does a great turn in “Under Siege” that’s among his best work on the big screen. “Under Siege” is the story of a takeover of a U.S. battleship for its nuclear arms. You have Segal in somewhat of a U.S. Navy purgatory as a ship’s cook, who, naturally, saves the day. “Under Siege” is an excellent action-thriller and don’t let Segal’s personal antics ruin it for you. He serves up a prime cut of action with it. Just as there are, uh … different folks in Hollywood, doesn’t even mean their good work in a movie isn’t good. Segal shines in “Under Siege” … so, Watch It!
