Watch It! With today’s post, I missed the anniversary of his death by a day … but still will say to watch John Candy in “Uncle Buck.” Thoughtful comedy doesn’t get much better than John Hughes’ “Uncle Buck” and you also get the unmatchable comedy of Candy. It’s difficult to believe that he’s been gone 27 years after dying of a heart attack on March 4, 1994, of a heart attack. “Uncle Buck” showcases all the man’s talent: physical comedy; voice inflection; facial expression; and a combination at times of several or all the above. I know you’ve seen “Uncle Buck” and, so I’ll tell you to find it and enjoy … and Watch It!
