Watch It! Today is the day for me to recommend “Big Trouble.” Here is one of my all-time favorite comedies … heck, “Big Trouble” is in my Top 25 list of all-time favorite films (and I’d say my review of it is my best of more than 300 I’ve written for this blog). “Big Trouble” co-stars Tim Allen and Rene Russo, but the entire cast, especially Zooey Deschanel, is so great, you want to see them all together all the time! “Big Trouble” is taken from Dave Barry’s comedy novel of the same name and is the story of a divorced dad (Allen) and a divorced mom (Russo) who get together because their kids keep getting into trouble while her soon-to-be-ex is the target of a hitman and everyone winds up in “Big Trouble” with a nuclear bomb. “Big Trouble” is just so excellent from the first second to the end of the credits that I’m starting to sound like its PR department. I am. Watch this one. “Big Trouble” is a comedy that you need to see … so, just Watch It!
