Watch It! You should check out “Just One of the Guys,” not because it’s a good movie, but because it is just good enough to keep your attention. “Just One of the Guys” is one of those formulaic Hollywood pseudo-comedies that never reach their potential (after actually having some). “Just One of the Guys” is the story of a high school junior (the actor was actually 27 and had reportedly dated Bruce Springsteen) who pretends to be a boy to write a story for her school newspaper (remember those things … newspapers? 😊 ). Of course, she learns how to walk like a guy from her younger brother; runs into trouble at the school she infiltrates for the story; and winds up liking the guy who believes she’s a guy. Ah well, there’s a lot of movies that could be a bigger waste of time, so … just Watch It!
