Watch It! Let’s see … I’ll go with “The Odessa File” today! Here is the story of a journalist in the early 1960s who tries to track down a World War II-era concentration camp commandant. In “The Odessa File,” he has to battle the ODESSA: It’s an organization of former Nazis helping Nazis in the post-war years. Here is an intelligent movie from a best-selling novel of the same name by Frederick Forsyth, but, while it is good, there are just so many detractions that it grades out as mediocre. However, “The Odessa File” has a nice plot and a twist at the end that makes the storytelling neat. So, why don’t you … Watch It!
