Watch It! I keep recommending films that stink, especially “reboots,” and today I’m saying the words … “Wild Wild West.” Yes, this is the stinker remake with Will Smith and Kevin Kline and you’ll watch “Wild Wild West” once and wish you hadn’t bothered. In any case, “Wild Wild West” (they even dropped “The” from the title of the original) is the story of aggressive federal agent “James T. ‘Jim’ West,” as played by Smith (and not a white guy as on 1960s television from that iconic series). His sidekick is the “scientific” genius “Artemus Gordon” and is played by Kline. After that … who cares? I don’t and you won’t. It’s too bad that the solid supporting cast didn’t have better to work with in this steampunk re-telling the TV show. In any case, you can enjoy “bad” with “Wild Wild West” and I’ll say … Watch It!
