I ought to start a new series on my blog called “Naples Idiot Drivers.” I already have “Naples Idiot Parking” and I recently posted a photo of a fool who pulled up way, way too far and blocked the crosswalk of a major intersection. Now, I’ve seen another fool: this is one manages to straddle a left-turn lane and a forward lane. Good job! I can’t call this idiot driver “entitled,” since they might have just made a mistake. However, it’s no mistake to say they should have made the turn and not been a nuisance to other drivers. I got the shot on May 6, 2021, as I drove home from work here in Naples, Fla. Yes, I blurred the license tag number (although photos taken in public are fair game, I try not to be too much of a critic). (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
