Watch it! A movie today? ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ has a large body-count, but doesn’t rely on it

Watch It! Let’s get back to violence with “Kingsman: The Secret Service.” Here’s an outstanding, modern-day thriller that relies as much on acting as it does on action … and, boy, do the bodies pile up! “Kingsman” is the story of a secret organization in the UK that routinely saves the world. In the movie, the group is up against a plot by Samuel L. Jackson’s odd character and it’s “Kingsman” to the rescue. Colin Firth mows down a passel of bad folks in church (53 by my unofficial count), while Taron Egerton dispatches dozens in the climactic scene. Whew! But wait! “Kingsman” is as much a story as it is a vehicle for acting. So, let’s get out there today and … Watch It!
