Watch It! Today? Try out “The Lost Boys.” It’s a vampire story with style. Usually, when Hollyweird injects “style” into a genre, it’s a foolish attempt at a “market” … you know, the youth market, the what’s-happening-now market, etc. However, “The Lost Boys” uses style to make a solid vampire flick even better. Yes, it is youth-oriented with smash cuts, outstanding visuals and a great soundtrack, but all that does is give the movie its almost instant cult status in the vampire world. “The Lost Boys” is the story of a family who moves to a creepy town in California and discovers … vampires. You can pretty much guess the rest, so, I’ll just write … Watch It!
