Watch It! Don’t be fooled by Sylvester Stallone’s similar movie from the year before and watch 1995’s “Assassins.” Unlike the movie the year before, “Assassins” is somewhat creative and the work of the actors offers a thin veneer over the stereotypes and other flaws. “Assassins” is the story of just that … two assassins. One, Stallone, is the older No. 1 and Antonio Banderas is the up-and-coming No. 2, who wants to both get to No. 1 as well as eliminate Stallone. “Assassins” is worth your time because it just isn’t some shoot-’em-up action-adventure flick. “Assassins” is more than that, so … Watch It!
