Watch It! “Knives Out” is a motion picture that is nothing but wasted effort of a mostly solid cast by a director who needs to learn about “whodunits” (and check the misspelling on the movie poster). “Knives Out” wastes the talent of Jamie Lee Curtis, a mortal sin in the world of cinema in my estimation. “Knives Out” is the story of a family about to be cut out of a patriarch’s will until … you guessed it … he dies. Is it suicide or was he helped along into eternity? You’ll have to watch the film and some of “Knives Out” is good. Characters have some great lines and the actors know their craft, but director Rian, uh, Rian Whateverhisnameis fumbles the ball big time. “Knives Out” is a snoozer by its midpoint and falls back from that point. Ah well, you might as well … Watch It!
