Watch It! The remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair” is actually a “reboot” worth watching. The original captivates with headliners Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, yet the remade “The Thomas Crown Affair” from 1999 is just as good and some ways better. You have forty-somethings Pierce Brosnan, as the top-shelf thief, and Rene Russo, as the hot-shot insurance investigator, bringing the sexual tension and heat to the big screen in ways McQueen and Dunaway could have only imagined. “The Thomas Crown Affair” is the story of a rich dude bored with having all that money and he decides to rob a museum of a priceless painting.
