Watch It! “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” is simply a wonderful motion picture. Of course, it is the ninth effort from director Quentin Tarantino and is too long; has several throwaway characters that look to be nothing more than a “name actor” working with Tarantino; and a need for better editing. However, “Once Upon a Time …” is simply a solid extension of all of Tarantino’s work and, taken as whole and not parts, is worth every minute of its bloated 161 minutes of running time. “Once Upon a Time …” is the story of an aging star and his aging stunt double (Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, respectively). In 1969 Los Angeles, DiCaprio’s house is next to the one for “hot” director “Roman Polanski.” Well, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out where this one is going. No matter what, you need to see “Once Upon a Time …” … so, Watch It!
