Watch It! “Jaws: The Revenge” and “Shoot ’em Up” are two films that make you want to ask, “WTF?” The former qualifies as the worst-ever movie from Hollywood and the latter is just a slice of amoral sleaze. WTF? I’ll go first with “Shoot ’em Up” since it offers a sensational turn by actor’s actor Paul Giamatti. “Shoot ’em Up” is about a man who helps a woman being brutalized and then is drawn into killing just about every criminal on the East Coast. “Shoot ’em Up” is a WTF film not because of the violence (more than 150 die in this one … 141 alone at the hands of the “good guy”), but because of just how vile it is at its heart. Damn! “Shoot ’em Up” makes any Quentin Tarantino movie look PG. As for “Jaws: The Revenge,” well, this one basically was thrown together to use “Jaws” in the title and forget anything else. “Jaws: The Revenge” is actually a story where a white shark follows a family member from the original across the Atlantic after … oh, who cares? The mechanical shark actually was nominated for a worst-actor “Razzie.” In any case, here are two WTF films, so … Watch them!
