Today is Dec. 7, 2021, and marks the 80th anniversary of the attack on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor that brought us into World War II. So, on this day of infamy, you can watch “Tora! Tora! Tora!” and it is one of those big-cast, big-screen efforts that every follower of WWII history and cinema must see. “Tora! Tora! Tora!” marks the beginning of the end of the Empire of Japan’s effort in WWII. After the attack, the U.S. began its inexorable march to conquer their attackers. “Tora! Tora! Tora!” is totally worth your time on his historic day – and the anniversary is why flags are flying at half-staff today across the country.
