Hooray! Early darkness going bye-bye! We’re on the upswing to DST and spring!

Thankfully, we’re on the upswing back to Daylight saving time (March 13, 2022) and the spring and summer solstice celebrations! Here’s a shot of just how dark it can get before 6:15 p.m. We’ve just passed the shortest sunlight day of the year here in Naples, Fla., and now there’s nothing ahead but Christmas, New Year’s day and the spring with Easter. Ah, it’s the most glorious time of the year! I got this shot just after 6 p.m. while driving home from work.
