This evening, Dec. 24, 2021, saw an end to a family tradition on Christmas Eve: Dinner at the DaRuMa Japanese steakhouse here in Naples, Fla. Twenty-six years ago was our first and it has been a family treat ever since. The restaurant is set to close in September 2022 as a new development will bring its physical demise, but it will reopen at a new location or as part of the new development. In any case, this evening was the last as a Christmas Eve celebration.
