Looking on the big screen at your home today, here’s another stinkbomb to consider: “Bobby Deerfield” from 1977. It stars Al Pacino as a Formula 1 driver who comes out of his automaton shell for a dying woman (no spoiler alert … the movie is so bad that you won’t mind this one). “Bobby Deerfield” should have been so much better: Pacino, director Sydney Pollack and Marthe Keller. Yet, “Bobby Deerfield” stinks. It reeks. It’s terrible. Still, you should watch “Bobby Deerfield” … if nothing more than what you’d see driving past a crash scene on the highway (no pun intended for this auto-racing film).
Still, I’m sure that you’ll need to work more than just a bit to find “Bobby Deerfield” for your “big screen” at home!
