Looking on the big screen at your home today, let me offer “The Eagle Has Landed.” Here’s a decent adaptation of Jack Higgins’ best-seller of the same title. “The Eagle Has Landed” is the story of a plot to kidnap Winston Churchill during World War II. However, the movie is less a war flick than it is a convoluted story of individual characters brought together in the kidnap plot. “The Eagle Has Landed” should have been a glorified TV movie, but the talent of the cast elevates it to being a real motion picture. “The Eagle Has Landed” co-stars Michael Caine, Donald Sutherland and Robert Duvall. You can do worse.
You won’t have any trouble in finding “The Eagle Has Landed” for your “big screen” at home!
