Many have tried to permanently eradicate plants that grow in this speed-limit sign in our neighborhood here in Naples, Fla. I suspect they used Round-Up or cut the plant growing at the time or attempted to pull it out by its root. However, nature is more resilient than human effort and plants keep growing back in this sign. It’s been more than a year since I posted the last plant-in-a-signpost shot and more than 5½ years since I posted the first. I got today’s shot this afternoon (Sunday, May 8, 2022) as I went on an errand. Click here for all the photos I’ve posted of plants growing in that signpost … (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
