Although the tropical system that just passed us in Southwest Florida is still expected to become Tropical Storm Alex, we were hit hard only by rain here in Naples. Fortunately, the system wasn’t able to spool-up to tropical storm strength before making landfall earlier today (Saturday, June 4, 2022) and we were spared any significant damage. However, with six inches or more or rain in some areas (and even up to 10 inches in Lee County to our north), the flooding did have some impact on the region. I got this shot as an example of the rain while I drove on an errand near our home. (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
