The price of a gallon of gasoline is not just high right now, it is chaotic. I stopped in at our nearby Sam’s Club to fill up my car today (Saturday, July 9, 2022) and noticed that the price for a gallon of regular unleaded was $4.199. What? That’s about 40 cents cheaper per-gallon than when I filled up our other vehicle just three days ago. Then, as I drove home, I saw at a nearby Circle K that the price was $4.599! Whew! Chaos! A note: in the big photo above, I inserted the words “Sam’s Club” on the photo to show its price – Sam’s doesn’t have roadside signs with the prices posted as does the Circle K.
