(NOTE FROM 2026: I posted this in 2022. The driving range was sold; closed; torn down; and is being redeveloped. Note the date of the posting.)
Be careful when you see “permanently closed” on a business in a search on Google. My favorite driving range is Golf Coast Driving Range in Estero, Fla., but Google, in all its wisdom, lists the range as “permanently closed.” Well, I thought it would be open today (Sunday, July 10, 2022) but, while it is closed today, the sign says that it will reopen. According to the sign, the range closed due to rain, but will reopen in the near future. I got this shot July 10 after venturing to the driving range north of our home here in Naples.
