Hurricane Ian is on its way to Florida and those of us in Southwest Florida, especially the Naples region, are praying that it passes us by, goes north into the Big Bend area with decreased wind speed. As it was earlier this evening, the storm is forecast to affect the Tampa Bay area. Here’s a shot of the pre-storm dark sky that I snapped while driving near our home in Naples on the evening of Sept. 26, 2022, as Ian approaches from the south-southwest.
