“Roaside?” Hmmm … I know what officials are trying to say (“roadside”), but only so many characters will fit on one line of this traffic billboard (or is it “bilbord?). So, why not on TWO LINES? Put it as:
ROAD
SIDE
… instead of misspelling the word. Then again, misspellings don’t really matter any longer, do they?
The billboard (or is is “bilbord”) is a reminder that for Halloween, the overflow parking from those going into this North Naples, Fla., neighborhood cannot park on the roadside. The neighborhood is so popular with trick-or-treaters that there is an overflow that parks on the busy main road outside the community. It’s always a traffic nightmare, just as it is for those viewing Christmas lights and the neighborhood’s signature luminaries during the Christmas season. I got this shot of the billboard (the “bilbord”) on Oct. 29, 2022, near our home. (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
