Looking on the big screen at your home … we’re counting down to Christmas 2022! For our first selection (and I should have posted this yesterday), we have “Trading Places” with Jamie Lee Curtis, Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. Although I’m on-again and off-again about “Trading Places” being a “Christmas” film, let’s go with it being a “Christmas” film. The story of “Trading Places” is that a couple of rich guys make a bet about whether it is genetics or life experience that determines success. Well, Aykroyd is the genetics and Murphy is the street smarts … and Curtis is, well, Jamie Lee (and don’t tell me you don’t watch this one for her). After starting near Christmas, “Trading Places” winds up after New Year’s Day. So, it’s a holiday film.
Keep coming back each day until Christmas for my latest recommendation of a Christmas film. “Trading Places” is top notch for your home “big screen.”
